*If you are a Pollyanna of Prosperity there is nothing to see here.
Remember those books to where the choices you made determined if you live or die? The fate of your choices were not immediately known but the story line changed for the remainder of the book. Are we truly ahead of the Japanese because of our governments bold, swift and unprecedented actions? Or will those prove to be the poison pill? Once you head down a path there is no turning back because in this book there are no "do-overs".
Bad Org Chart
President = CEO, The "Manager"
Appointments = Engineers, Subject Matter Experts (I use that loosely)
Generally to be a successful you need good Leadership. But that alone will only get you so far. The CEO is not the subject matter expert in all areas as he relies on the people beneath him to recommend ways to execute his vision. Further down the line you have the workers. Ultimately Obama will be judged by the actions and recommendations of the people under him.
Parties
I'm convinced the idea behind "Parties" has not achieved it's goals. There are two groups who oppose each others views for the most part. When your Boss happens to be affiliated with your party you are going to side with him more times than not, like any good soldier would. The same goes for your co-worker. In Congress is where this becomes a huge problem. There needs to be a complete overhaul of our system.
It may take years (depends on what adventure we choose), but I have revised my long term target on the S&P to 420. And no, I have not smoked myself retarded. Irregardless of a rally to 1000
Now that I've forgotten what I was posting about I guess I'll have to stop here.
